Tattoos often represent something important to an individual, whether a date, name or even an image. However, in the celebrity world theses tattoos have a somewhat peculiar importance.
In the British Press recently we have been informed of N-Dubz rapper Dappy’s hashtag tattoo on his right cheek. When asked why he decided on this interesting design he said that he wanted to be “trending forever.” We think it is fair to say that his tattoo will probably be remembered for a long time but Dappy isn’t the first and most certainly won’t be the last to make an alternative tattoo choice.
Twilight star Jackson Rathbone in 2012 decided that he liked tomato ketchup so much that he wanted a bottle of it tattooed on his leg. If either Rathbone or Dappy decide that they no longer like their tattoo recent enhancements in laser technology mean we are able to remove them effectively. It isn’t just celebrities that may require this treatment and here at Laserase Croydon we would be happy to offer our expertise to you.
Tattoos are created by inserting pigment into the lower layer of skin and although our bodies react to this ‘injury’ it is not able to cast out the large particles of pigment. With the use of new technology we are able to use three different lasers that target the different coloured inks to guarantee optimal results. This safe and effective method involves targeting short pulses of light at the tattoo which causes the tattoo ink to break down into very small particles which the body then naturally breaks down. Over the course of treatment, usually 3 to 5 for Indian Ink tattoos and 8 to 12 for professional coloured tattoos at monthly intervals, the pigment will gradually break down and fade away.
In the large majority of cases the complete removal of an unwanted tattoo can occur and this is due to our use of three different lasers targeting different inks and also how the body’s immune system reacts. In very few cases a tattoo cannot be removed but this is exceptionally rare. Our medical professionals successfully treat over 2500 men and women within the Laserase network each month and are on hand to provide advice on aftercare and the best treatment for you.
If you want a professional and personable service that can provide successful treatment of an unwanted tattoo then please contact us today for a FREE consultation that has absolutely no obligation to continue onto the treatment phase.
